For the second performance, I took another song for interpretation. This time it was 'Balada disidenta' (eng. Ballad of a dissident) from a Serbian rap group ‘Beogradski Sindikat’. I performed at Poing in Rotterdam. The song is based on the story of many other young Serbs who left the country in search of a better future. For this performance, I came out of a suitcase and read the lyrics of the song from pieces of paper that represented a goodbye letter. A goodbye letter to a country I grew up in.
